Born in Hagereselam, Ethiopia, in 1992, Muluken Mengistu moved to Yirgalem, a peaceful town where he spent his formative years. He attended Yirgalem Mekane Yesus Elementary and High School, gaining foundational knowledge and spiritual values. He completed his preparatory class at Yirgalem High School, excelling academically. Driven by a passion for technology, Muluken enrolled in Hawassa University in 2011, pursuing Electrical and Computer Engineering. He gained a strong understanding of mathematics, physics, electronics, and programming, specializing in computer engineering. He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree. His journey into digital evangelism began during his university days when he interned at Great Commission Ministry of Ethiopia (GCME), also known as Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). As an application developer, he contributed to various mobile and web applications for ministry projects, deeply internalizing GCME's vision to fulfill the Great Commission through spiritual movements. Since joining GCME as staff in 2016, Muluken has taken on diverse roles including **Application Developer, Social Media Manager, Intern Coach, and Website Developer.** He now leads the **Products Team**, focusing on developing and maintaining digital platforms that spread the gospel and disciple people online.
