Denamo Markos grew up in Hawassa, where a love for computers and games sparked his lifelong passion for technology. He graduated with Great Distinction in Software Engineering from Addis Ababa University, and further sharpened his skills in Data Science and Machine Learning through 10 Academy. While in high school, Denamo encountered the world of digital strategies and its role in ministry. This encounter—along with his participation in an Indigitous Hack event—ignited a passion to integrate faith with technology. During his university years, he interned with the Digital Strategies (DS) team, contributing to projects, hackathons, and innovation-focused missions. After graduation, he officially joined DS as a developer. Today, Denamo contributes to the Great Commission by building scalable software, experimenting with AI, and innovating new digital tools for gospel engagement. In his spare time, he enjoys football and gaming. His mission: to code for Christ and craft digital tools that make a spiritual impact.
